Privacy & Confidentiality Policy
VCF treats all client communications and engagement data as strictly confidential.
1. Collection of Information
As a commercial intelligence firm, Virtual Citizens Foundation (VCF) collects data through two primary streams:
- Client-Provided Data: Information strictly necessary to execute a Statement of Work (SOW) or to communicate regarding potential engagements.
- Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT): Data lawfully collected from public records, financial registries, and other publicly available sources during the course of our investigations.
2. Operational Security & Data Protection
We employ institutional-grade encryption and decentralized data storage protocols to protect the security of our clients' identities and the findings of our investigations. VCF does not maintain centralized databases of client engagements that could be subject to unauthorized access. All digital correspondence and report deliveries are executed over secure, end-to-end encrypted channels.
3. Non-Disclosure & Third Parties
VCF operates under strict non-disclosure parameters. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information or corporate data to outside parties. This does not include trusted third-party specialists who assist us in conducting our intelligence operations, so long as those parties agree to keep this information entirely confidential, operate under our security protocols, and receive information only to the extent necessary to perform the engagement.
4. Legal Compliance
We reserve the right to release information when we believe release is unequivocally required to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect our or others' rights, property, or safety.
